Shevet Achim: The Brotherhood

In the Fall of 2013, Jewish Family Service launched “Shevet Achim: The Brotherhood”, a fun program that Jewish boys say is a safe place to talk about the challenges they face in adolescence and in becoming men.

Shevet Achim is a place for guys to build a meaningful community of peers and have a chance to talk about many of the things that are probably on their minds this year including competition, stress, power, money, intimacy and more.  All of this takes place within a Jewish context and includes a lot of what they love including time for informal interaction, sports and more.

JFS was able to purchase the curriculum for Shevet Achim thanks to a grant from the Selma and Ernest Rosenblum Foundation.
